Congrats To Rocky Mike

On the birth of his son, who was born yesterday, clocking in at 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Not sure what his name is, so for now we'll call him Pebble Mike (hat tip to Fenway Ed for the nickname). In honor of Rocky Mike and the newest addition to his squad, I'll post an anti-Cutler video (as I'm sure he has already clued his son in on his opinion of the former Bronco QB-hat tip to Mr. Hackman for the link). Congrats Mike!!

Congrats Mike! I was impressed to see Mark Texeria celebrate the arrival of Pebble Mike by belting a HR last night.

Congrat's to Rocky Mike on the birth of Lil Mike!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the sentiment and the Anti-Cutler propaganda. My son, whose name is Michael (although Pebble is a nice alternative), has already been debriefed on the Cutler situation. While most of yesterday was centered around love and happiness, I did spend 20 minutes covering the difference between NL and AL baseball with "chess versus checkers" being the primary metaphor.

Again, I appreciate the kind words, texts, blog posts and emails.

Good luck to the Blackhawks for the Chicago crew.

Hackman, go fuck yourself.

Oh ... and congrats, Rocky Mike. I was feverish with my hatred for Hackman and forgot the real reason for the post. Again, congrats ... and again, Hackman can go to hell.

Maybe I should contact Bunge Milling and tip them off on the employee who has been going all Chloe O'Brien on their computers...

Ah the 24 reference. Love it!

I can only imagine the one-sided argument that Lil Mike heard from his proud NL Papa. Does Lil Mike have a twitter account yet, I wanted to send him this link:

Now warming up in the bullpen for the Colorado Rockies......number twelve...Michael Branam!!!

When your son makes the show, I'll need a clubhouse tour and an opportunity to take some fungos at first.

I wonder if, 12 or 13 years from now, Pebble Mike , Landsdowne Liam, and Baby Ruth will be participating in their own fantasy baseball league?

Nice Rocky Mike!!! Baby Ryan Ruth is very excited to meet Pebble Mike.

Let me know if you need anything...

Will we pass down our teams to them in this league or make them create their own league? hahahahahahaha

How funny would that be if we made this a permanent league? We handle our teams like franchises. I can see it now, Yankee Mike will be a demented old bat like George Steinbrenner and Ryan and a son to be made later will wrestle for control of the reins.

Do me a favor, Yankee Mike. Just don't scalp your own tickets outside the stadium.

If this becomes a permanent league I'm wondering if I can make like Jeff Loria and sell my team to the league in favor of a new team?

Thanks guys. As for keeping this a permanent league, I am all for it. I will let my son know that I fought hard during intense labor negotiations to continue the snake draft format, all in the best interest of the league and the Rockpile franchise.

I am still trying to frame my Tim Tebow discussion with him...not sure how that is going to go.

Congrats on the 'Hawks advancing. That should be a very good series. Winner wins the Cup in my opinion.

Now I have access back and I'm being deprived by the host of this site ... can I catch a break?
